Aroma Spotlight: T Spheres Bath & Body Oils

Welcome to our seasonal spotlight on T Spheres Bath & Body oil aromas! You might have a favorite aroma already – and smelling a pleasant smell will always have a positive effect on you. Like they say, the nose knows, and stimulating our olfactory sense with an aromatherapy we enjoy will at the very least boost our mood. But different essential oils have distinct, deeper effects, which means different oils might come in handy during different seasons. While you might love your go-to lavender (who doesn’t), maybe your body or brain could benefit from some geranium right now. Or lemongrass. Or grapefruit. Find out what you might be missing out on below, so you can be well equipped year round.

First up to be featured is our Inner Beauty aroma. With autumn winds on their way followed up by harsh winter weather, Inner Beauty’s key ingredient geranium is excellent at protecting your skin from damaging, dry, cold weather conditions.

Like the name suggests, it draws beauty from the inside out. First of all, its floral, warming smell will have you smiling, and joy is inherently attractive. But on a more technical level, geranium oil is a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. That means it’s effective both short and long term. In the short term, it boosts skin’s natural glow, while combatting day to day puffiness, irritation, and redness caused by inflammation. Long term, its antioxidant properties improve your skin's ability to heal itself from environmental toxins and exposure (like winter weather!)

Try adding a few drops of Inner Beauty Bath and Body to your bath water so you can soak up its detoxifying properties. The soothing steam is great for your face as well. Or use a small amount as perfume to on your wrists and neck.

Our other featured aroma is Inner Strength. Thanksgiving football is fast approaching, but the pros aren’t the only ones with aches and pains. Inner Strength’s eucalyptus and lemongrass oils are established sports recovery ingredients, having long been used to relieve joint and muscle pain. Potent scents like these can be found in products like Vick’s VapoRub or Tiger Balm.

Of course, muscle and joint pain aren’t limited to athletes – as the temperature starts to dip, you may find your body is more resistant to warm up before your work out, or that your knees complain more on your daily walk. The cold weather can also awaken old injuries. It’s important to give your body the rest and recuperation it needs to heal, but eucalyptus and lemongrass can help with the discomfort. The crisp aroma of eucalyptus mixed with the bright aroma of Lemongrass is a bit stronger and sharper than other oils. Many people find this aroma refreshing and stimulating. Inhaling the vapor can open up your nasal passages in a similar way menthol or camphor would. And like those oils, a little goes a long way - too much eucalyptus oil can be an irritant.

Start with 3-4 drops as you run the bath. Massage onto the lower legs and feet, upper back, neck and shoulders for that sports massage feeling. Or drop a similarly minimal amount onto the shower floor for invigorating steam. Be aware that some people can be allergic to eucalyptus. Use cautiously, especially on sensitive skin, and consider children, pregnant people, and pets in the area.

All T Spheres Bath & Body oils are mixed with organic golden jojoba as a carrier oil, which makes the concentrated essential oils safe to apply directly to your skin as moisturizer, perfume, hair conditioner, and scalp treatment. Jojoba is full of vitamin A, E and omega-6 fatty acids, making it anti-oxidizing and anti-aging. It improves the skin barrier by mimicking our skin’s naturally produced sebum. T Spheres ethically sources our Jojoba oil from Argentina, Panama, and Israel through a U.S. distributor.

So there’s our fall lineup of essential oils. Check in this November to find out which aromas are best to combat winter worries.
